I'm pretty sure it's the Ancona Pyramid 30. The box says 400CFM, not the 900 in OP. I don't see the model on the manufacturer's website, so it's probably a Costco special.

hmmm..Really!! seems too good to be true. I have only seen 400CFM around those prices. If you dont mind driving down states, try looking on getting used for something like Zephyr. Link on Amazon here
I got it for around 300$. I would highly recommend it. Specially good if your wife is allergic to spices .

This one is only 400 CFM. At least the one that I bought at my local Costco 2 days ago was. The reviews make me a little nervous, but I'm renovating on a really tight budget, and I'm confident I'd be able to fix it if something goes wrong.

Same here, bought it yesterday. Not to sure if I am keeping it. The reviews are horrible from the link mentioned above. Did you find any good reviews on this particular model?

I didn't, but I'm working on the assumption that people are far more likely to post a negative experience than a positive. Talked to the service desk at Costco because I wanted to make sure I'd be able to return it (probably won't have it installed for another 6 months or so) and they said sure - without receipt. Seems like a pretty low risk purchase to me.

I bought the Ancona Pyramid 30 at the Kanata Costco store yesterday for $99.99! Not even a clearance price, but I know that two weeks ago it was $149.99 in store. This might be YMMV but since it wasn't a XX.98 or XX.97 price, seems like it should be all locations.
For reference, it is this exact model: http://www.costco.ca/Ancona-Pyramid-30- ... RRWidgetID
The review (there is only one) says that it is quiet and effective. I haven't installed it yet but I would say that design wise and stated features, an equivalent package would be >$300 anywhere else. Better than the no hood I currently have, anyways!

We have the same hood, but then under cabinet mount. "OK" hood. Extremely noisy. But when it is off, it looks nice. Paid $99 in the store. Looks like these units are the same as Ikea's, by looking at the filters in the Ikea store.

Finally installed the Pyramid 30 this week. It looks great and suction is excellent even on the lower settings. However, it is quite loud (ie don't plan on having a conversation while standing at the stove). For me, this wasn't a big deal compared to the looks and the functionality. It was very easy to install (of course depends on your duct situation) and both my wife and I are very happy with it for $100.
